JMS Energy is seeking a motivated and skilled Battery Technician to join our team. As a Battery Technician, you will play a key role in the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of battery systems used in renewable energy projects. - Install, commission, and maintain battery energy storage systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on battery systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with battery components and systems.
- Perform testing of battery performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, testing results, and equipment conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Battery Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of battery technologies, including lithium-ion and other advanced energy storage systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to battery installations and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
